Adoption Attempt #1 Failed
We weren’t chosen. There will be other chances, but it still sucks. It feels like a “damned if you do, damned if you don’t” kind of situation now….Any means by which we try to have a baby will likely lead to more hurt, which kind of makes one just want to give up on the whole thing, but then you can’t really “win” if you never try. Bah.

i’m not sure whether i should be saying “life’s irony” or not. i’m sorry about that, but don’t give up hope. love has a way of finding itself to those who need it the most.
I’m really sorry. It’s hard not to feel hurt by the rejection. The road to adoption is quite a bumpy one. But I have a strong feeling that this will happen for you in the next 6 months. But if it doesn’t happen in that time frame, it’s ok. It will happen. It’s just frystrating as hell. Will you give Milenka a big hug for me? Thanks.
