Just a reminder……
Stargate SG-1 and Atlantis as well as Battlestar Galactica all premier their new seasons tonight.
I don’t watch the first (I kind of missed the first 6 or 7 seasons so I didn’t figure on starting when I had the chance), like the second a lot, and absolutely love the last.
I better check TiVo now to make sure it doesn’t have any “smart” ideas in mind…

I ran across this excellent review on slashdot of the newest Harry Potter book. The book doesn’t come out until tomorrow, and what I’m about to quote will undoubtedly give away the essential plot elements…
Something evil threatens Harry. His friends tag along for the adventure. Malfoy is an asshat. Dumbledore says some words of wisdom. Hagrid gets into some form of trouble but comes good in the end. Ron just about cocks up every spell he trys. Hermione is a swat (but kinda cute). Someone tangles with a mythical beast. It’s a fight to the death but Harry and his friends come good in the end – oh and someone is not who they seem to be …hmmmmmm!

(The original topic involved the fact that a store in Canada accidentally sold some of the books earlier this week and then got a judge to issue an injunction baring those who bought it from talking about it……how stupid is that?)
