I just took the MIT Weblog Survey. It was pretty painless and only took maybe 5-10 minutes total to get started and do the whole thing. They’re looking for as many bloggers as possible to take it, so give it a go if you have a few minutes.

On the down side, it was good at showing me how sad my life is…
They ask questions like how many emails, SMS messages, IM’s, etc do you send in a day…… I just went through and said none, none, none…… Then they ask about types of people you know (“Do you know a doctor?”)…..once again, I answered mostly “no”…
I choose to know few people though I guess.

I noticed that USA is running a marathon of The 4400 on Saturday starting at 9am. They’re running every episode apparently, which isn’t all that many of them. I noticed that USA is running a marathon of The 4400 on Saturday starting at 9am. They’re running every episode apparently, which isn’t all that many of them. I hadn’t realized, but season “1″ is 5 episodes….I could swear it was longer than that. If you haven’t seen the show or if you’ve been missing seeing a certain episode, now’s the time to do it.
On a side note, I’ve noticed that they’ve been bringing on a bunch of sci-fi stars. Lexa Doig, who played Rommie/Andromeda on Andromeda has been on a couple of times as a professor. Robert Picardo, who played the doctor on Voyager, was on as a 4400 of the week who’s saliva promised quick weight loss…. My favorite of the bunch was Summer Glau, who played River on Firefly, who was on as a 4400 of the week who was….get this, a mental patient. Given the few roles she’s been in I’m left to wonder if she does anything but take “crazy” roles…
Also coming up (I’d love to say “this weekend”) is a Battlestar Galactica marathon on sci-fi. This is on July 6 starting at 10am….a Wednesday. It’s a bit of an odd time to do it if you ask me…right after the holiday weekend. Still, I can’t say how much I love this show, so watch it if you haven’t. The second season starts on the 15 apparently….two weeks from today. I can’t wait.
