The Wife Who Doesn’t Come Home

Milenka has managed to forget to come home two nights in a row now. She got out of work at 6 on Friday and went over to a friend’s house. They hung out for a while and then watched the last four episodes of Sex and the City (a crappy show, I might add). When they were done, they noticed that letterman was on…. This was around the same time that I had gotten home and began calling her wondering what was going on. She returned my call saying she was “just leaving”…she lost track of 6 hours…
She didn’t loose track of quite so much time yesterday, but she was much later. She got out at 10 this time and ended up standing around talking to people for a couple of hours. In this case though, she forgot her phone and didn’t bother calling so she just kind of showed up at 1:00 when she should have been home around 11:00, just before I got there.
She’s not working today, so I can only imagine what I’ll find when I get out….
I don’t really mind though. Actually, I think it’s good that she’s made some friends that she can hang out with. Now if only I could do that…..
