Something For Everyone…

I write about some weird stuff. Weird might not be exactly the right word, but at least some things that no one else in their right mind should care about. Yet I tend to end up with people leaving comments or some such that make it sound like they’ve actually thought about this stuff too. I mean, come on, what the hell is wrong with everyone?? I’m not writing about stuff that makes sense here! Oh well. At least that all means I’m not alone… 
Seriously though, sometimes it amazes me about the things I can write about and get responses from people. The easiest example as of late is the gummi bears. I had more responses to an 80’s cartoon than anything else I’ve ever written about…. Then a couple of weeks later when I out and out ask people about how they pronounce a word almost no one says a thing. Poof. On the other hand, it was obviously a crappy question as far as question go. It seems some people pronounce both words the same even…. Writing about talking just doesn’t work in this case.
I can’t waste away this moment to talk about a couple of similar items as well. I forgot to write anything on the day itself as I was gone all day at a concert, but earlier this month was the 1 year aniversary of this blog (though some content spans back further because of imports from an old one). One other fun thing is that, as of Monday, there had already been as many people here (both uniques and page loads) as there had been the entire month before. I’ve used BE a little this month, but only enough to make those numbers come in maybe 12 hours earlier than they otherwise would have. Fun fun fun I say.
