It’s finally all over. The semester is done. I’d originally planned to be pretty much done on Wednesday but that extended to take up most of yesterday, so today is my first day free. It’s great. I can’t explain it beyond that.
I looked back at an old entry and it’s sad to see what I said I was going to do over the summer and then never did. Some of that same stuff is on my todo list just now….
I can go ahead and make a statement like “I’m really going to do it this time,” but then again I can’t tell you how many times I’ve said that before and didn’t.
Oh well. Here’s a list anyways. I’m sure it’s not entirely complete, and it certainly isn’t in any particular order.
- Various things around the house…Milenka has a list
- Various things to the site. Obviously I have entries I’d like to make, but I’m also going to do some things with graphics a little bit and some design work possibly including a script or two
- Spend time with Milenka. I hate putting this on a todo list because it’s so open ended… but it’s important nonetheless so here it is.
- Catch up on TiVo/movies. Various things sitting around I haven’t watched in the last two weeks or so. This includes finishing Buffy season 7 as well. I’ve seen only bits and pieces.
- Develop some good habits/routines. I have a lot of bad habits just now. I’m hoping I can train myself to do otherwise
- Start development on that non-trivial program that I mysteriously mentioned about 7 months ago…maybe I’ll actually tell people what it is.. I might stick it on sourceforge too
- Catch up on some reading, specifically as related to the above point.
- There’re a couple of quirks I found with programs I wrote this last semester I’d like to explore. Just kind of “I wonder what would happen if I did this…” kind of things that I never had time to look into.
- Work some more OT while I have the time. (I think I’m fairly well covered for this whether I want to be or not though for now…)
- Add to the quote database. I added more than I thought I was going to the day I set it up (about 16 quotes) and I’ve only added a couple since then….if you’re here often and look over there you’ve probably noticed this
